MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA — Today, indie-electronic anthem artist Jai Wolf released “Your Way” feat. Day Wave–a dreamy, atmospheric track that features lush guitar tones doubled with a heavy layer of synth, channeling the perfect soundtrack for a distraction of the daily grind. Sajeeb Saha, aka Jai Wolf has announced his debut album, The Cure To Loneliness to be released April 5th via Mom + Pop Music. “In my heart, this album is me,” professes Jai Wolf. “From the sounds to the lyrics, it’s everything that I’ve always wanted to do.”

“I was really excited to work with Jackson [Day Wave] after a friend showed me his music two years ago. We wrote the lyrics fairly quickly–Jackson was noodling on his guitar and somehow spilled out exactly what I was feeling at the time. Releasing this song is like letting go of the emotional weight on my shoulders.”
Born in Bangladesh, raised in New York City, inspired by everything from indie-punk to hip-hop, orchestral symphonies and the Bollywood classics of his parents, Jai Wolf’s life and music have been defined by a liminal quality that only a third culture kid could understand. It’s that quality that takes center stage on The Cure To Loneliness, as he slips between references to cultural moments with an ephemeral quality tinged with nostalgia.
“I like writing songs that have a duality, a complexity of feeling that takes you to a melancholy, reflective space,” says Jai Wolf. “My music is for people who are desperately dreaming beyond where they are at right now-it can be the future, it can be the past. I want you to feel nostalgic. I want you to reflect on your life. I also want you to be inspired about where your life could go.”
