PHOENIX, ARIZONA — Relentless Beats and Insomniac threw one heck of a Valentine’s day dance party for all the lovebirds and festival goers in the Valley. Whether people had that special rave bae or tagged along with friends, Crush Arizona was definitely one for the books. Teaming up, Relentless Beats and Insomniac made Crush Arizona a two-day festival for its 10th annual year. Crush AZ was held at the most notorious venue, Rawhide Event Center this passed weekend on February 15-16th.
Seven Lions and Alesso closed out both nights. Bardz started off the night with off with groovy house. Some other headliners were: Slander, Joyryde, Kavion, and Wooli. For his first ever Arizona show, Kavion killed his performance. Spag Heddy and Black Tiger Sex Machine threw down and headbangers everywhere were having the time of their life. Kavion and Seven Lions took music attendees to out of this world and put everyone in their feels. Anna Lunoe, Blossom, and Joyryde brought the house down as shufflers were gliding through the dance floor. Alesso closed out the night with Lose Your Mind featuring Swedish House Mafia very own, Sebastian Ingrosso.
Crush AZ was full of surprises including two surprise guests–Galantis and Said the Sky! Galantis came out with 3lau and dropped a remix of Runaway. Slander brought Said the Sky out for their first ever debut of Potions. To top it all off, Seven Lions welcomed out Slander to play their song featuring Dabin, Falling for the First Time. Crush AZ was a night to remember!
Festival attendees got a chance to take photos with a creatively designed photo backdrop. In addition, there was a beautiful multi-media sculpture, Tree of Love, in the shape of a heart on a tree. People from all across the valley came to share the love and gathered around to drink Rattle and Rum curated this years signature cocktail: Apple of My Eye.
Thank you to Relentless Beats and Insomniac for making this event possible. A special thank you to all the people who work so hard to make this event possible. For all those festival goers who attended this weekend, do not forget to tag #CrushAZ to never miss a beat. We hope to see you at the next festival.
