CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — It all started with parties in the park. Now, the party is Dirtybird Presents: Birdhouse Festival this Saturday September 7th at Lakefront Green. A new location, it fits the vibe with the Dirtybird crowd, who promote a sense of community, fun, and inclusion. Featuring yard games, classic fair vendors, and contests to play games with your favorite artists, this event will take concerts to a whole different level of entertainment.
Claude VonStroke is the founding father figure of the Dirtybird Records label. He will headline the event, playing an extended set solo, and joining the decks for a back to back with Chicago local Paul Johnson. Not to mention, as festivities commence, he will be reading fortunes of the patrons in his down time.
Duo Walker & Royce, not to be outdone in fun, will be hosting a basketball shootout on the court, and playing earlier in the evening. VNSSA opens the day, and can be found later taking on challenges in Skee-Ball. Other not to miss artists include: Mason Maynard and Chambray VS DJ Deeon.
This is the second annual installment of the Chicago Birdhouse Festival. It boasts being the only Dirtybird festival in the Midwest. To bring Chicago flavor, it will also feature dance performances by local teams.
