UVITA, COSTA RICA — A week from today, the first of the seven day long festivities will begin on the grounds of Envision Festival. Patrons from around the world will gather to participate in workshops, practice yoga, and dance to a diverse lineup of live music. With performance art, galleries, and stunning bamboo installations and stages, this extended 10 year Anniversary celebration is sure to amaze the senses.
With a multitude of workshops during the day, and a variety of stages for music all night, Envision has something to offer for everyone at any time. The full 7 day schedule has been released including performances and workshops at all stages and sacred spaces. Coming with family? Envision has a special area dedicated to children’s programming called the Dream Oasis Kid Zone with its own set of music and workshops.
For travelers still up in the air about plans, drop down on some wheels, and ride direct to the event. Shuttle passes from Juan Santamaria International (SJO) Airport directly to the Envision grounds are available. Limited tickets are available and can be booked here. Looking for even more? The “Take it Easy” travel pass is for you. This pass bundles a GA or VIP ticket, round trip shuttle passes to and from the airport, and a Ready-Set-Camp set up.
Once you have arrived, participate in one of the most notable traditions of Envision Festival, the Tree Planting Ceremony with Costas Verdes. Held for the past five years, patrons of the event begin by marching through the camp as a planting army, wielding trees and tools, encouraging others to join on their way to the planting location. This year’s plant is scheduled for Thursday February 20th at 3pm. Since the establishment of the ceremony nearly 50,000 trees have been planted. For this year’s 10th anniversary celebration, Envision is participating in the 10K challenge, and hopes to plant 10,000 trees this year alone. Joining patrons this year is well loved Envision veteran, French producer Clozee. In addition to playing two music sets during the festival, she will also be joining the planting army and helping at this year’s ceremony.
All ticket types are still available, but are currently over 90% sold. Full 7 day experience passes begin at $719 and 4 day experience passes begin at $419. All passes have an additional charge for tax and purchase fees. A limited amount of 6, 3, 2, and 1 day passes will be available at the gate. Packages and details can be found here.
