MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA — The music industry has taken a devastating blow amidst the COVID-19 crisis leaving many musicians and fans stuck at home and on the prowl for ways to keep busy and pass the time as we enter the dawn of a new era. Live streaming and mixes are popping up left and right as global attention shifts their time to new experiences online. In some cases, even new digital festivals are popping up.
So far, Opiuo and CloZee’s big Red Rocks celebration is still on for the end of May, but the experimental Australian and French producers have been crafty since before the virus put the industry on hold. They came together to co-create a juicy mix of organic elements and electronic sounds to gets fans pumped on the big event. It also features tunes from the rest of the artists on the lineup, including LSDream, Of The Trees and K+Lab.

“While I was doing the mix, I realized how perfectly all our tunes were blending together,” CloZee tells Billboard. “Everybody on the lineup has a unique and recognizable sound, but the synergy between our music is incredible. I couldn’t be more excited and honored to play alongside amazing people and friends. It’s a dream gig for me.” Opiuo and CloZee’s big Red Rocks get-down is scheduled for Fall 2020. Tickets are on sale now.
