RYE, CO – Join Sonic Bloom for its 16th Annual Music Festival at Hummingbird Ranch, in Colorado. Experience 4 days and 5 stages of music and workshops to completely immerse yourself this upcoming June 15 – 18. Sonic Bloom fosters an environmentally friendly and local-focused approach that aims to create a positive impact on the surrounding area and promote sustainability. Throughout the years, Bloom has encouraged creativity, spiritual connection, and transformation through a diverse range of musical genres, art installations, workshops, and interactive experiences.

 

The 2023 lineup includes a diverse range of music from the eclectic instrumental and electronic sounds of the headliners Dirtwire to the world bass of the main headliner CloZee. While Sonic Bloom is a haven for electronic music to delve into, it is complimented by a variety of live bands with the likes of Sunsquabi and Papadosio, instrumentalists, experimental/avant-garde sounds, and world music with a global fusion. There is a little something for everyone that goes exploring through the grounds, starting from the afternoon hours deep into the hours of the early morning. 

Artists You Don’t Want to Miss:

Lotus will be bringing adventurous and genre-blending exploration, where electronic elements meet live instrumentation, improvisation merge with structured compositions, and infectious rhythms. Their ability to seamlessly traverse multiple musical styles while maintaining a cohesive and distinctive sound has made them a favorite among fans of both live and electronic music. 

Late Night Radio is an artist known for his captivating and genre-blending sound, which incorporates elements of electronic music, hip-hop, funk, soul, and jazz. Drawing influence from hip-hop, Late Night Radio infuses his tracks with infectious rhythms and head-nodding beats. His music often features layered drum patterns and funky basslines. Alex Medellin, Late Night Radio, is a Colorado native and has become a prominent figure in the city’s electronic music community.

Spaceship Earth will guide you into traveling with dreamlike melodies and harmonies. The rhythmic foundation of the music often features trip-hop-inspired drum patterns, with relaxed tempos and grooves that encourage a sense of calm and introspection. Enjoy the journey during this set as he aims to create immersive and otherworldly sonic landscapes that evoke a sense of exploration, introspection, and connectivity.

Explore many of the workshops provided to move your body, connect with your mind and bring a sense of community within each other. From learning about permaculture, regenerative agriculture, to herbs, supplements, to composting and spiritual guidance. Sonic Bloom offers a buffet of teachings for everyone to choose from. Enjoy a variety of movement classes from yoga, partner yoga, learning to shuffle dance, hooping, poi, and breath work workshops throughout the weekend to connect with your divine sense of self.
