PHOENIX, ARIZONA – Relentless Beats and Global Dance partnered up to present this year’s Decadence Arizona: The Sky Realm at the infamous Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona. This two-day New Year’s event was jam-packed with EDM including genres of dubstep, house music, big room, and many more!
After having an insanely successful year, John Summit closed out the year at Decadence this year by closing out Where You Are- GRiZ remix, he also went back to back with Subtronics! John Summit even spent the last set of the night raging in the crowd at Subtronics near his fans. With these two being the new hot duo in the spotlight, we predict there will be much more coming from these icons.

Adventure Club and Flux Pavillion went to back to back at the Royal Ballroom playing all the dubstep classics including Cracks, Gold, I Can’t Stop, Crash 2.0, Gold Dust, Limitless, and remixed Next Life into a dubstep drop. The crowd got absolutely rowdy throughout the night and headbanged the night away.
Decadence Arizona and Decadence Colorado both bring in insanely stacked lineups year after year. While Colorado is known for all of the huge names they bring in, Arizona certainly gave them a run for their money in being one of the best NYE lineups in the States. Arizona attendees raged to John Summit, Slander, Illenium, Subtronics, Getter, just to name a few. Relentless Beats and Global Dance had headliners for everyone.
Both Grand Place and the Royal Ballroom’s production was supported by Polar Productions, with both stages being housed in giant tents to keep everyone warm during the winter season. Massive balloons even fell from the ceiling of the tent at the Grand Palace during the Slander ball drop on night 2!

Ravers from all over the valley bundled up this year, but that did not stop them from dressing up! Popular items like fur jackets, leather pants, pashminas, and light-up jackets were used by people all across the valley. This year’s festival temperature dropped to 30 degrees, which is very cold for local Arizonians.
For the ball drop at midnight, both Slander and Wax Motif played at conflicting times. While Slander brought all the fire and the feels, Wax Motif threw a dance party for his crowd. From dubstep to house music to drum and bass, the crowd was moving and grooving all night long to the variety of genres played. If you were looking for a well-rounded lineup of artists for your New Year’s plans, Decadence Arizona was where it was!
