  • The String Cheese Incident- **SATURDAY NIGHT CHEESE IS ONE OF KENDALYN’S ABSOLUTE DON’T MISS** A staple of Electric Forest, The String Cheese Incident’s multiple sets are a “see it to believe it” kind of moment in someone’s life. I would highly recommend checking out Saturday Night Cheese, as it’s truly one of the consistently best performances of the weekend year after year. There is a reason why SCI keeps Forest goer-ers coming back year after year. The String Cheese Incident takes attendees to a musical world full of rock, bluegrass, jazz, R&B. Electric Forest wouldn’t be here without Cheese, and we cannot wait to see this year’s spectacle!

  • The Disco Biscuits- The Disco Biscuits are known for their “Trance-Fusion” style, blending electronic beats with jam band improvisation. Bringing us Biscuits since 1995, this group has curated a sound and set that truly feels timeless. Every time I have gotten to see them live, I have been thoroughly taken aback by the some of the most colorful lasers and lively sets. If you’ve never had the chance to catch them live i HIGHLY recommend it!

  • Umphrey’s McGee- Umphrey’s comes together to create “a sophisticated mix of cutting-edge technology and a stellar light show” They are a true jam band powerhouse- Combining rock, jazz, blues, progressive metal, country, bluegrass, electronic elements and more.  Their improvisational skills and tight musicianship are going to be a welcomed energy at Electric Forest!
  • Lettuce-**ONE OF KENDALYN’S ABSOLUTE DON’T MISS** More than your favorite base for a salad, this funky music group is food for the soul. Lettuce’s live shows are a celebration of funk, soul, and jazz that will have you dancing from start to finish. If you haven’t gotten the chance to catch a Lettuce set live, EF might be the place to let this legendary funk group take your breath away!!!

  • Dirtwire- Described as “Back-porch space cowboy blues, swamptronica, and electro-twang,” Dirtwire is one of the most unique artists that I have ever seen live. Blending soundscapes, instruments from all over the world and so much more, Dirtwire is an electronic band that is guaranteed to exceed your expectations.

Electronic

  • Pretty Lights- **ONE OF KENDALYN’S ABSOLUTE DON’T MISS** Pretty Lights’ fusion of glitch-hop, electro-soul, and downtempo beats has made him a festival favorite. I am SO happy that Pretty Lights has made a comeback and cannot wait to see what he has in store this year for us at EF. Pushing the boundaries of Jamtronica, we’re sure that this is going to be one of the best sets of the weekend.

  • Black Tiger Sex Machine- Known for their high-energy performances and immersive stage production, Black Tiger Sex Machine (BTSM) combines heavy bass music with a dark, sci-fi aesthetic. Their sets are an audiovisual experience that you will talking about for ages to come.
  • Subtronics- For those who crave heavy bass and innovative sound design, Subtronics never misses. Now a beloved pillar of the EDM community, Subtronics always comes correct to every performance, giving his fans an intense blend of dubstep, riddim, and experimental bass. Guaranteed to shake the Forest and make you headbang all the way to space, you’re not going to want to skip out on this one.
  • LSZEE (CloZee & LSDREAM)- **ONE OF KENDALYN’S ABSOLUTE DON’T MISS** This collaborative project between CloZee and LSDREAM brings together their unique styles for a transformative live experience. I think it’s safe to expect a fusion of world bass, psychedelic sounds, spacey dissonance and judging from their first two releases from this project- I think we’re in for a real treat. No LSDReam set comes without mind-bending curated visuals, and CloZee is no stranger herself to putting on an equally impressive visual experience for her audience, so if audio AND visual experiences are your thing, this is a set you will be sad to miss.
  • Excision- “Imagine a world consumed by all-powerful bass driven rhythm and colossal seismic frequencies. Sounds of dystopian, futuristic worlds envelop the senses and control the movements of your body as the spectacular audiovisual experience of an Excision show takes hold” (About | Excision).
Making his return to Rothbury for the first time since 2017, I’m pretty sure this is a Must See for any basshead. A true titan in the bass music scene, Excision is known for his earth-shattering drops and incredible stage production. His sets are a full sensory assault, complete with cutting-edge visuals and bone-rattling bass.

  • ATLiens Known for their mysterious personas and heavy bass music, ATLiens deliver a dark and thrilling performance. Their sets are filled with hard-hitting beats and an enigmatic stage presence that keeps the crowd entranced.
  • Boogie T Dubstep, Electro Funk and all things in between, Boogie T has paved a truly unique path for himself in the EDM scene. His sets are high-energy, featuring live instrumentation and a feel-good atmosphere that gets everyone dancing. Boogie T is a household favorite around here- and are highly anticipating this and his band Boogie.Trio’s performances throughout the weekend!
  • Caspa **ONE OF KENDALYN’S ABSOLUTE DON’T MISS** A legend in the dubstep scene, Caspa’s sets are a journey through the genre’s roots and evolution. Expect deep basslines, classic tracks, and a masterclass in dubstep from one of its pioneers. The first time I saw him perform was at Electric Forest in 2019 and I cannot wait to see what heat he brings to the woods this year. The music is heavy and still feels like a true honor to the inception of dubstep.
  • G Jones- I really couldn’t say it any better about what listening to G Jones is like- Insomniac has described his sound as “a mental minefield of sudden drops and stutters, bass lines that open holes under your feet and send you shooting sideways to some warped mystery land.” Can’t fathom that feeling but NEED it? Don’t miss his set!
  • Maddy O’Neal- Electro Pop baddie Maddy O’Neal returns once again to bless our ears with her magical music. Her innovative approach has been coined as “Dirty Funky Bass but make it Pretty.”

Known for the journeys he takes you on throughout his performances- he is able to tap into all different types of electronic music (source: edmtrain). I can’t wait to see what he has cooking up his sleeve for his fans!

His unique sound and high-energy performances make him a standout act in the bass music scene. I highly recommend catching this set! This man truly knows how to throw down like the legends!

Making a grand entrance with a plethora of all original mixtapes, he immediately commanded attention by the masses through his unique integration of deep freeform bass and apparent boom bap influences” Tripp St. – Artists (insomniac.com).
