BLACK OAK RANCH, CALIFORNIA — If you haven’t heard of Enchanted Forest, that’s because it’s one of California’s best kept enchanted secrets. An intimate communal gathering of less than 5,000 attendees, Enchanted Forest is at the pinnacle of the magic you can find in a transformational gathering. Named by EverFest as “A Cosmic Vortex of Healing and Creativity,” it is truly a place where one can go to unleash their inner child and explore in a forested wonderland. On top of the great musical lineup, the vibe is said to be incredible, fun-loving, and safe.
Enchanted Forest will take place at the fabled Black Oak Ranch, just over the hill from Mendocino National Forest. This year it will occur underneath a full moon and the music won’t stop til dawn. The festival features many on-site delights, such as a comedy area dubbed the LOLounge, workshops around activism and social justice, as well as a fresh river to dip in. The festival’s production team is as innovative as they are imaginative, creating mythical festival environments like something out of a fairy tale.

Perhaps the feature that has attendees most excited is the enchanted musical lineup. Enchanted Forest will feature Dave Tipper’s only California performance in 2017, with support from many other exquisite headliners such as Noisia, The Polish Ambassador, and TOKiMONSTA. The bass-heavy festival lineup offers a wide array of electronic favorites: from trippy trappy and wubby dubby powerhouses like SOOHAN, Space Jesus, and CharlestheFirst to future funky masters like The Floozies, The Funk Hunters, and Fort Knox Five. With one headliner still left to announce, this lineup is one for the golden book of fairy tales.
