CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — The Chicago-based trio Jake Carpenter, Louis Kha and Mikul Wing make up the tropical-house sensation Autograf that will make their homecoming stop for their Metaphysical Tour this Friday at Concord Music Hall. They will be bringing along with them their highly-anticipated and visually-captivating new stage set-up―that has been blowing fans away across the country. Chicago will be one of the last stops on their tour, after venturing around up and down the west coast earlier this year.
For those of you that may have not been following them closely, the trio has been continuously reinventing the electronic music scene as we know it―focusing more on bringing visually-engaging art into their works and incorporating the live instrument dynamic (such as their iconic vibraphone) that all fans crave in a world of play-pushing DJ’s. On top of everything else, early this month they also dropped their debut EP, “Future Soup,” which contains the self-designed cover art that was an allusion to Andy Warhol’s famous Campbell’s Tomato Soup.
