GENEVA, MINNESOTA — Infrasound Music Festival, an independently-run underground bass music event has officially made its fourth move in 8 years back to its home state of Minnesota. Previous locations included Outback Ranch in Houston, MN; Camp NCN in Black RIver Falls, WI; and most recently Highbridge Hills Sports Complex in Highbridge, WI.
Many are pleased to hear that this year’s event will take place at the widely accepted festival grounds of Harmony Park in Geneva, MN—home to many other festivals including Revival, Project Earth, Shangri-La and more. Situated an hour and a half south of Minneapolis near the southern MN border, Harmony Park features vibrant grassy campsites tucked beneath 100 year old oak trees and surrounding Geneva Lake.
“When we first had the idea of starting Infrasound this was our dream home and now, after years of establishing ourselves as one of the premier underground electronic festivals, we have been invited to host the event there with open arms. We are looking forward to bringing you our most exciting lineup yet featuring artists from all over the world representing the many sounds of the underground electronic community,” says the festival founders.
Infrasound has positioned itself as one of the leading underground bass music festivals in the world with top-tier sound, international talent, and a homegrown family that consistently preserves the earlier dubstep roots and experimental bass music. This year’s event will feature three different stages, three different sound systems, and silent disco.
