Our Story
Launched in 2015 by founder Ryan Quella, Electric Feels combines a passion for photography and music, drawing inspiration from the euphoria experienced when music resonates perfectly. While specializing in all types of Electronic Dance Music, we also cover diverse genres like Jam, Funk, Folk, Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Indie, Rock, World Music and more. Electric Feels has grown significantly since its humble beginnings in Minneapolis, with a substantial online audience in the tens of thousands, particularly in cultural hubs like New York, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, and Dallas. We now extensively cover all corners of North America, conducting interviews with headlining acts and capturing stunning photographs at several prominent music events. Operating on a grassroots ethos, we are powered by passionate volunteers, prioritizing connecting audiences with budding artists and providing a platform for independent creatives of all kinds to shine in the music industry.

Our Team
Ryan Quella | Founder
Ryan is the founder and visionary behind Electric Feels, which he started in 2015 using his expertise as a professional photographer and talented writer. Having worked as an event producer, venue marketing manager, and talent booker, he has an in-depth insider knowledge of the music industry that has helped Electric Feels be successful in connecting people with the music they love.
Colin Eldridge | Editor-in-Chief
Colin has been a passionate music enthusiast for as long as he can remember, with a special place in his heart for EDM since hearing his first psytrance album in 2008. An artist in many mediums, he has worked with Electric Feels since 2016 as a writer, photographer, content creator, graphic designer, and is now the editor-in-chief.

Synthia is a passionate and talented photographer currently living in the Bay Area. Through her photography company Blissfullydrifting Productions, she aims to focus on highlighting the stories of underdogs who unapologetically follow their dreams. She has been collaborating with Electric Feels since 2023.
Kendalyn Liebzeit | Social Media Specialist, Writer + Photographer
Kendalyn is a Michigan-based photographer, artist, writer, and avid festival lover. Her favorite artists include Flume, Griz, Twiddle, Funk You, Papadosio, Tipper, and Ganja White Night. When she’s not behind the camera or computer, you can likely find her wandering the woods foraging, practicing juggling, or playing with bubbles. Kendalyn graduated with a BA in Photography from Grand Valley State University in 2019.
Bree Zimmerman | Writer + Photographer
Bree is a dreamer, a dancer, a stargazer, a photographer, a lover of music and moments, and quite possibly part mermaid. Catch her on the nearest dance floor, swimming in the closest body of water or telling stories through her lens.
Megan Dujardin | Writer + Photographer
I’m a self-taught photographer with a passion sparked in 2009 when I got my first DSLR, a Nikon D3600. From early photos of pets and flowers to high school yearbook shoots, my love for the camera only grew. I’ve since taught myself manual mode, capturing events, family moments, and festivals. Now, I’m committed to creating and sharing, valuing community over competition, and hoping to inspire others just as they’ve inspired me.
Josh Peak | Writer
I’m a Producer and DJ in the SF Bay Area and a long time festival addict. I balance playing multiple times a month and going to as many festivals, raves, and events as possible. I love the electronic music community and the place I have found myself within it. I hope you enjoy my fun and unique perception of festival and rave culture.
